About me
I am George Brewster, a successful sales professional who works with organizations and individuals to help them build upon their strengths to achieve consistent results. I apply my skills, experience and powers of observation to help my clients achieve alignment with the priorities they have set. As the founder of Gimbal Systems, I help build processes to ensure that my clients deliver on their promises to others while achieving their own desired outcomes. I believe in building relationships through work rather than completing transactions. I am a grateful and loving husband and father. I love living in the Pacific Northwest and enjoying the amazing outdoor opportunities this region has to offer.
My purpose
My purpose is to help my clients achieve better results by looking at how they are selling and making sure it is consistent with what they want the customer to experience. My intention is to make work fun by identifying and celebrating what is working well and building upon those existing strengths to derive more consistent results. I want people to experience the best that you and your company have to offer.
My background
Prior to starting Gimbal Systems, I spent 14 years in a variety of sales related positions at small to large and young to mature companies. I sold directly in business to business and retail, mostly representing intangible services in the financial services sector. My specialty is in building relationships by taking a consultative approach to determine the needs of my customers and then educate them appropriately about the services I represent.
In 2009 I completed my Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences at the Leadership Institute of Seattle and Bastyr University, with a focus on Coaching and Consulting within the field of Organizational Development. I have also coached lacrosse and skiing, delivered sailboats across oceans and managed personnel within the recreational services industries.
My track record
From competitive sports to corporate boardrooms I have spent my entire career being a team player and helping organizations prosper, as an individual contributor, an internal leader and as an outside partner. I am proud of the variety of companies and industries I have worked within and the work that I did at those organizations to help drive results and improve upon the processes while I was there. I have worked successfully in several dramatic change initiatives and have helped guide others through the challenging process of change management. I have designed and delivered successful trainings. I have sold, bought, managed and provided consulting services. I treat every engagement as a learning opportunity and continually work on improving myself to be the best that I can be in service of myself and others. Since founding Gimbal Systems, I have helped individuals and organizations improve their results in their lives and in their businesses.
